Conestoga® covered wagons are real, handcrafted, wooden wagons based on authentic, 19th century designs. Don’t be fooled, however. What looks like living arrangements straight out of the wild west are, in fact, luxury accommodations with plenty of modern amenities.
These covered Conestoga® glamping wagons are insulated and water-resistant, with power, lights, flat screen TVs, and air conditioning. Each wagon sleeps up to 6, with a double pillow top king bed and two sets of twin bunk beds. Private, key-card accessed bathrooms are just a few steps away and you’ll also enjoy the fire pit right outside your wagon.
Best of all, you’ll have expansive, Red Cliff views during the day and absolutely jaw-dropping starscapes at night. The Capitol Reef area is home to some of the clearest, star-filled night skies in the country, with little light pollution. In fact, the International Dark-Sky Association recognized Capitol Reef National Park as a Gold-tier International Dark Sky Park in 2015.
